Artuso Pastry and Mario's Restaurant (of Arthur Avenue) were invited to help celebrate this momentous occasion with some of the best restaurants and food service establishments from all 5 boroughs. The glamorous event was held at the beautiful Edison Ballroom in NYC and included many of New York's leading advertising and marketing executives. Also in attendance were NYC Mayor Michael Bloomberg, Daily News Chairman and Publisher Mortimer B. Zuckerman and Bernadette Peters, who gave a very special performance.
